The Mexican Grand Prix 27 October 2024

The Mexico City Grand Prix takes place over 71 laps over the 4.304-kilometre Autodromo Hermanos Rodriquez circuit. Mexico first started in 1962 as a non-championship event becoming a championship event in 1963 until 1970. It then returned from 1986 to 1992 and in 2015 returned and has stayed since this date. This classic Mexico Grand Prix circuit has changed little over the years, but now features the incredible Foro Sol section where the cars enter the stadium. The atmosphere cannot be matched anywhere else on the F1 calendar.

So what else can F1 fans expect to look forward to in Mexico? When you’re done with the Mexican Grand Prix racing, head into this vibrant and exciting city to soak up the Mexican vibe. If nothing else, you’ll at least want to sample the food; just remember, tacos, burritas and tamales are hot, hot hot, so you’ll need to wash them down with a Tequila or two and some cold Mexican beer. Our suggested tour encompasses grand prix, Maya archaeological city and the chance to enjoy a beautiful Caribbean beach location.
