Hong Kong Sevens 1-3 April 2022


Be there and experience the party atmosphere at the Hong Kong Sevens 2022. Whilst in Hong Kong, you may wish to visit the ancient Man Mo Temple, admire the panoramic views of the island from Victoria Peak, sample the tasty treats on offer at a Tea House, or absorb the vibrant atmosphere at the Temple Street Night Market. As usual, the rugby will last for three days, following which, you can journey to the mainland to discover The Great Wall of China and the Terracotta Warriors with your own private English speaking guide!

Day 1     United Kingdom to Hong Kong
Arrive at your chosen UK airport and depart for your overnight flight to Hong Kong

Day 2 
On arrival you will be met and take a private transfer to your hotel.

Day 3     Hong Kong Rugby Sevens  (afternoon start)

Day 4     Hong Kong Rugby Sevens 

Day 5     Hong Kong Rugby Sevens 

Day 6     Depart Hong Kong
Day at leisure until your private transfer to the airport for your flight to your regional airport in the UK.

Optional extension and visit The Great Wall of China and the Terracotta Warriors

Day 7     Fly to Beijing (BL)
Private travel to the airport for your flight to Beijing. On arrival you will be met and take a private transfer to your hotel.  In the afternoon tkaea private tour to Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City

Day 8     The Great Wall (BLD)
Today visit the Great Wall at Mutianyu, a post along the wall offering breathtaking views in a less crowded atmosphere. Mutianyu was built in the mid-6th century and its rich history can be observed in its unique construction. In the evening enjoy a sumptuous Peking Duck Dinner, a traditional delicacy and a culinary must.

Day 9     Terracotta Warriors (BLD)
Today your guide will take you to visit the Terracotta Warriors, a stunning collection of ten thousand life size statues of the Chinese army made over two thousand years ago, yet preserved almost perfectly. This will be followed by a visit to the ancient City Wall in Xian in the afternoon, which can be enjoyed through a peaceful stroll or a bike ride. It is the most complete city wall that has survived in China, it is one of the largest military defensive systems in the world. This evening you will try a dumpling dinner while enjoying the Tang Dynasty Show, a colourful performance of traditional music and dance.

Day 10    Fly to UK (B)
Private transfer to the airport for your flight back to your regional airport in the UK
