Your South Island Experiences

Queenstown sits on the shores of the South Island’s Lake Wakatipu, set against the dramatic Southern Alps. Enjoy a Milford Sound Day Trip and Nature Cruise. Other Queenstown excursion include Queenstown Hill Views, Gibbston Valley Winery,  Lord of the Rings Film Sites and Mt Dewar Farm.

Kaikoura is a coastal town easily accessible with a 2.5hr drive from Christchurch. It’s known for its abundant wildlife and its sperm whale population.

Franz Josef is a small town in the West Coast region famous for ice Formations.  Stay here while you explore this spectacular World Heritage Area.

TranzAlpine Train is regarded as one of the world’s greatest train journeys, the TranzAlpine travels between Greymouth and Christchurch, crossing the Southern Alps.

Greymouth is the largest town on the West Coast and the starting (or finishing) point for the TranzAlpine train journey. It’s known for its gold mining history and is a great place to learn about the West Coast’s heritage.

Your North Island Experiences

The Bay of Islands is a New Zealand enclave encompassing more than 140 subtropical islands next to the country’s North Island. It’s known for its undeveloped beaches, big-game fishing and Maori cultural artefacts.

Rotorua offers the spectacular hissing geysers, natural hot springs and bubbling mud pools at the geothermal park. Enjoy a fascinating tour of the Tamaki Maori Village, learn of the ancient cultural traditions, marvel at the almighty haka war dance and savour a hangi feast.

Lake Taupo is the largest freshwater lake in Australasia. Enjoy a  cruise across majestic Lake Taupo to the impressive Māori rock carvings at Mine Bay, as well as visiting other points of scenic and historical interest around the lake shores.

Napier is New Zealand’s Art Deco capital with fine wineries, fabulous restaurants, and cafes. Located in Hawke’s Bay , a region that boasts some of the best wineries around and a visit here would not be complete without a trip to Church Road Winery.

On arrival in Christchurch you will be met and take a private transfer to your hotel.

18 October - 1st T20 New Zealand v England

After breakfast, make your own way to the Hagley Oval for the first game of the series. It’s approximately a 20-minute walk to the stadium.

19 October - Christchurch

Day at leisure to explore Christchurch and the surrounding area. Optional day tours to be provided.

20 October - 2nd T20 New Zealand v England

After breakfast, make your own way to the Hagley Oval for the second game of the series. It’s approximately a 20-minute walk to the stadium.

21 October - Fly to Auckland

Today you will fly from Christchurch to Auckland. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Auckland.

22 October - Auckland

Day at leisure to explore Auckland and the surrounding area. Optional day tours to be provided.

23 October - 3rd T20 New Zealand v England

Join our transfer today to Eden Park for the final T20I of the series. After the match, the transfer will take you back to our hotel

24 October - Travel to Tauranga

Today you have the option of taking a coach transfer to Tauranga or collecting a car rental and drive to Tauranga at your leisure. The car hire you will have for remainder of the tour. 

25 October - Tauranga

Day at leisure to explore Tauranga, Mount Maunganui and the surrounding area.

26 October - 1ST ODI New Zealand v England

Today you will be transferred to the Bay Oval for the first ODI match.

27 October - Rotorua or Cambridge

Today you have the option of travelling by coach or car rental to Rotorua or Cambridge. If travelling by car rental then an optional stop can be the popular Hobbiton. Rotorua is famed for its thermal and volcanic landscape, and living Maori culture.

28 October - Hamilton

Today travel by coach or with your car rental self drive to Hamilton.

29 October - 2ND ODI New Zealand v England

Today walk to the Hadley Oval for the second ODI match.

30 October - Northern Explorer Train to Wellington or self drive to Lake Taupo

Today board the Northern Explorer for a scenic train journey through the North Island to Wellington. If you are on self drive then drive to Lake Taupo for 1 night. Then travel to Wellington on 31 October.

31 October - Wellington

Day at leisure to explore Wellington. Optional Wellington morning tour.

01 November - 3RD ODI New Zealand v England

Today walk to the Sky Stadium for the third ODI match.

02 November - Fly to the UK or extend your stay

Today you will be transferred to Wellington airport or drop off your car hire for your flight to the UK. 

16 October 2025 - Fly to New Zealand
